Depression drawings, October 29, 2003

The following pen and ink drawings were done while in a state of depression. They are not presented as 'art' so much as the use of line to bring forth some essence of mind.

There were originally 8 drawings, starting at 12.49am and ending at 1.44am, but #8 was destroyed.

The depression, which had lasted for almost 2 days, was dispelled by the time drawing #7 was completed. The drawings were expected to have this effect. This is probably why I destroyed #8, it may have seemed superfluous.

Whether or not they have aesthetic value I don't know, but art therapists may find them of interest. You can click on each drawing to lead onto the next, starting here.
